Event planning and design

 

Planning a wedding or event can be a very daunting experience especially if you feel like design is not your strength. Maybe you have a vision but don’t know how to make that a reality. Here is where I step in. As an innovator and problem solver I will create your vision and more but give you realistic guidance along the way. 

 

I transform spaces to fit the theme, style and ambiance of the event and have an ever-growing collection of decorations and resources available to hire. I prefer to decorate the space myself either with my own team or by leading your friends and family who are there to help. 

I charge a £200 day rate for this service. An additional day is required to coming in after to take the hired resources and decorations. 

 

 

How it works.

 

We meet for an initial consultation (£30) where we talk about your event, whether this is a wedding, baby shower or birthday. We talk about budget, specific requirements and your vision. 

From there we create a mood board reflecting your vision and I create a list of things you would need to achieve this. After meeting you I also present some extra ideas that could make your day even more special. After all, we want this to be as bespoke and as personal as possible.

 

I then come up with a price plan, see what resources I have to offer you and work out what would need to be sourced elsewhere or created for the event. We have wonderfully talented people at our fingertips from graphic designers to carpenters and are confident we can make your event visually stunning, cohesive and reflective of you. 

 

Prices will be discussed for rental of merchandise and price varies depending on the scale and level of help you require. I charge £30 an hour for my skills which will be pay as we go. We will make an extensive plan of your needs and expectations and if you need me, I’ll be there to hold your hand every step of the way. 

 

 

 

Pretty in Pink is the Green Door’s Bar service. 

 

Pretty in Pink is a Pop up extravagantly decorated tent with bar. It has its own seating and offers a glamorous, fun and sparkly drinking experience. 

 

Specialising in pints of Pimm’s and Prosecco we can give a festival edge to your wedding. 

 

We also have a shots trolley, boozy bath and offer a gin o’clock to your event. 

 

Staff are equally fun and glamorous. 

 

Other alcohol can be served on request.
